We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Planning Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project planning, change management, and risk management activities.

Job Description

The role involves overseeing all aspects of planning services, including project planning, Management of Change, and Risk Management. This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Deliver project planning and scheduling to meet project timelines.
  • Track project progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise Work Breakdown Structures, project controls systems, and interfaces with financial accounting systems.
  • Provide guidance on project plans and schedules using standard business software.
  • Coordinate Risk workshops, track actions closing, and maintain updated Risk Registers.
  • Coordinate MoC workshops, track actions closing, and maintain updated MoC Registers.
  • Advise Project Team of deviations to plan and recommend corrective action.
  • Monitor project procurement activities and make adjustments for timing and cost deviations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in projects.
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools (Primavera, MS Project).
  • Knowledge of budget and cost control techniques.
  • Strong personal commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) leadership.
Skills & Competencies Required/Know How

You will also need:

  • Flexible and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Procurement and contractual knowledge.
  • Project management knowledge.
  • Fluent English language - written and spoken.
