Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our construction management efforts in the Middle East and North Africa region.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in property or infrastructure project management, commercial and financial acumen, and leadership skills.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, managing high-performing teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large and complex projects in the construction delivery phase
  • Develop and implement project plans, including cost management services, estimating, procurement, and cost planning
  • Mentor and coach teams to ensure excellence in delivery against plans
  • Champion a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment and adhere to local health and safety rules or regulations
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and deliver on promises
  • Ensure operational integrity, fiscal viability, and compliance with business and legislative obligations

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS/MICE or local equivalent qualification
  • Appropriate construction skills certification scheme (CSCS) card or local equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lead and manage high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Experience of using project management software
