**Job Title:** Site Civil Engineer

  • Planning and Design:
    • Develop project designs, including blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
    • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to design new projects.
    • Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.

**Construction and Supervision:**

  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and conduct site inspections.
  • Manage budgets and project resources.
  • Evaluate projects for compliance with legal requirements, including health and safety regulations.

**Technical Expertise:**

  • Utilize design software to create project drawings and renderings.
  • Supervise soil testing and other geotechnical assessments.
  • Provide technical support to contractors and construction teams.

**Collaboration and Communication:**

  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and other professionals.
  • Prepare public reports, such as bid proposals and environmental impact statements.
  • Offer engineering information and answer questions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and relevant software.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
