Poultry Expert

Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled Poultry Expert to join our team in Oman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing poultry tasks and care according to Company Policy and instructions from the Livestock Farm Vet/Supervisor. The ideal candidate should have formal educational qualifications in Poultry or Animal Science and relevant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize poultry tasks and care according to Company Policy.
• Collaborate with the Livestock Farm Vet/Supervisor to ensure effective implementation of poultry management strategies.
• Maintain strong knowledge on all diseases relating to poultry, including prevention and control methods.
• Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to poultry care.
• Develop suitable nutritional organic diets for poultry.
• Recommend stress-free environments for raising chickens.
• Conduct quality control checks in coordination with the in-house lab.
• Demonstrate passion and expertise in the poultry field.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team without ego or attitude issues.

Requirements:

• Formal educational qualifications in Poultry or Animal Science.
• Relevant experience in the poultry industry.
• Strong knowledge of poultry diseases and their prevention and control methods.
• Able to create and enforce SOPs.
• Ability to develop nutritional organic diets for poultry.
• Passion and expertise in the poultry field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
