Job Title: Senior Portfolio Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee project controls in the Middle East and North Africa region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in portfolio management and be able to build a high-performing team.

The Role:

  • Demonstrate leadership skills to lead a high-performing project controls team, comprising programme and employees.
  • Build and manage a Controls team responsible for delivering functions such as master data set management, benefits realisation, change control, earned value management, interface management, reporting, risk, schedule management.
  • Drive performance in line with the Portfolio drumbeat and governance structure (including reporting).
  • Identify and communicate Performance insights to project teams.
  • Oversight of performance and continuous improvement in standard processes.
  • Able to step in and train the wider team in any of the above processes and procedures as required.
  • This role is client-facing and requires presenting internally to senior leaders, project teams, and their supply chains.
  • Accountable for the PMO and project controls performance of all service delivery for the assigned region.
  • Responsible for ensuring all PMO and risk management services within the assigned region are fully aligned with best practice and international ISO standards and reflected in all control centres.
  • Provides expert advice and support to all projects within the region and additional support to other regions as/when required.
  • Partners with clients to exceed their expectations and build strong professional relationships.
  • Leads and directs the delivery of all technical PMO and project controls services within the assigned region including all aspects of digital services.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
