Financial Analyst - Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As an accounting specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

This position involves preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers. You will be responsible for reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and taking corrective action to ensure compliance with internal controls.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers, guaranteeing transparency and control over financial transactions.

  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing procedures, facilitating smooth operations and informed decision-making.

  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaise with internal and external auditors, upholding the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and standards (IFRS or local GAAP).

  • Proficiency with accounting systems, ensuring seamless integration and data management.

  • Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail, enabling accurate and efficient financial analysis and reporting.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, allowing for effective identification and resolution of complex financial issues.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
