We are seeking an experienced Secondary History and Sociology Teacher with A level experience to join a thriving UK curriculum school in Oman. The school follows the UK national curriculum, catering to a student body comprising 60% local students and 40% international students.

Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the school leadership team is essential. You will teach Secondary classes to A Level and have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your students.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons based on the UK curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment, fostering a love of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school leadership team.
  • Teach Secondary classes to A Level.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified with at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience.
  • A desirable experience teaching A Level courses.
  • Bachelor's Degree in History, Sociology or Education, along with a PGCE in Secondary Teaching.
  • Experience with the UK curriculum, complete QTS and Induction preferred.
  • Previous EAL experience is advantageous.
  • Able to deliver active and engaging lessons.
  • An energetic, positive attitude that creates a warm atmosphere for students' development.
