Bar Service Leader

We are seeking a skilled Bar Service Leader to oversee staff, training, hiring, bar promotions, and inventory in our hotel's Wadi Bar.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a bar supervisor or team leader, be ready to work evenings and weekends, have familiarity with POS systems, and be proficient in stock management.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an appropriate staffing level - hire, maintain disciplinary documentation
  • Ensure all security incidents, accidents, and near misses are logged, investigated, and rectified to prevent recurring issues
  • Prepare the work area for service with pre- and post-service checks completed
  • Engage in guest interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner
  • Supervise and direct bartenders and bar backs
  • Ensure standardization and consistent beverage preparation, presentation, and quality
  • Monitor and control bar beverage stocks and ensure efficient use of products
  • Assist and direct wait staff when necessary
  • Encourage teamwork and communication with bartenders and wait staff
Key Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage or customer service in a supervisory role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
  • Positive attitude and a team player
