**Job Overview:**

Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa is currently seeking a skilled Commis I to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Assist Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
2. Prepare ingredients according to menu specifications
3. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
4. Control food stock and costs
5. Prepare mis-en-place and food production for various sections of the kitchen
6. Follow instructions from immediate superiors
7. Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
8. Coordinate with other sections for cleanliness, wastage, and cost control

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course, previous experience in quality establishments, and good culinary skills. Fluency in English is essential, as well as a proven track record of food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge.
