Hotel Culinary Assistant

**Job Details:**

We are currently seeking a skilled Commis I to join our culinary team at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Supporting the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
2. Preparing ingredients according to menu specifications
3. Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
4. Controlling food stock and costs
5. Preparing mis-en-place and food production for various sections of the kitchen
6. Following instructions from immediate superiors
7. Ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
8. Coordinating with other sections for cleanliness, wastage, and cost control

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course, previous experience in quality establishments, and good culinary skills. Fluency in English is essential, as well as a proven track record of food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge.
