Cloud Native Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled operations manager to lead the commercial strategy and marketing efforts for our cloud native operations product areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management within open source and cloud native domains, as well as knowledge of software operations for large-scale distributed systems.

  • This role involves responsibility for the development and delivery of products that shape market demands and promote open source software globally.
  • The successful candidate will set vision and direction, ensuring timely delivery of the right products into new and existing markets, pushing technological boundaries.
  • Juju, an open source orchestration engine, enables deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of applications at any scale and infrastructure using charms.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading product lifecycle, reviewing priorities and goals
  • Collaborating with engineering leads on product development
  • Working with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and address challenges
  • Conducting market research, analyzing trends, and gathering customer feedback
  • Developing and coaching your team
  • Establishing KPIs and communicating progress
  • Driving continuous improvement and execution excellence
  • Contributing to strategies for high-performing teams
  • Supporting sales efforts through customer feedback and meetings

Requirements:

  • Experience in product management within open source and cloud native domains
  • Knowledge of software operations for large-scale distributed systems
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and enterprise security requirements
  • Proven leadership in technical teams
  • Passion for technology and developer marketing
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year
