About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Service Representative, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their stay with us is truly memorable.

As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, checking them in and out, and handling all aspects of their stay, from room reservations to local information and services.

Your primary goal will be to deliver outstanding customer service, responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise in a timely and courteous manner.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a strong ability to work under pressure and multitask. You should also be knowledgeable about our hotel's facilities, services, and local area, as well as being able to problem-solve and think creatively when dealing with difficult situations.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly and professionally to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  2. Check guests in and out, handle room reservations, and provide accurate and up-to-date information about hotel facilities and services.
  3. Process payments, exchange currency, and handle miscellaneous charges, always maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Maintain awareness of room availability, occupancy levels, and rate fluctuations, adjusting your approach accordingly to ensure maximum revenue.
  5. Work collaboratively with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality guest experiences.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong knowledge of our hotel's facilities, services, and local area, including attractions, restaurants, and cultural events.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask, often in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash transactions and processing payments.
  • Familiarity with Opera or similar systems, with the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
