Pizza Master Trainer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced pizza professional to join our team as a trainer and mentor. This individual will be responsible for teaching kitchen staff the art of crafting authentic NY-style pizzas while ensuring consistency and quality across all offerings.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Crafting hand-tossed, thin-crust New York-style pizzas with precision and attention to detail.
  • Leading the dough-making process, including mixing, fermenting, portioning, and proofing.
  • Operating and maintaining deck or stone ovens for optimal cooking performance.
  • Preparing sauces, cheeses, and toppings according to brand standards and recipes.
  • Ensuring all pizzas meet presentation, portioning, and timing expectations.
  • Developing and documenting training materials, SOPs, and checklists.
  • Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitoring kitchen inventory and coordinating with the purchasing team as needed.
  • Supporting menu development with seasonal or innovative pizza concepts.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience making New York-style pizza in a professional kitchen.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and lead kitchen staff.
  • Deep understanding of dough fermentation techniques and pizza oven operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in a local or artisan brand setting is preferred.
  • Commitment to quality, consistency, and teamwork.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
