Event Operations Manager

• Develop and execute detailed event budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while maintaining high service quality.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to plan and coordinate events, incorporating client feedback and operational performance insights to continuously improve catering offerings.
• Lead and train a team of catering professionals, providing coaching to enhance service standards and efficiency.
• Manage inventory and procurement of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the logistics of catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain and operate contracts according to established targets, driving business growth through effective relationship management.
• Forecast material needs and raise requisitions, plan schedules and work rotas, and motivate staff to achieve company objectives.
• Direct subordinates and staff performance, conduct regular meetings to discuss and resolve problems, and enhance company awareness.
• Ensure all documentation is compiled and authorized within established timeframes, protecting and enhancing company property and image.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in catering or event management, showcasing a progressive career path.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred for foundational knowledge.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation is essential to uphold health standards in all catering operations.
• Experience in luxury or high-volume catering environments, demonstrating capability in managing complex logistics.
• Preference for candidates who have worked in diverse cultural settings to better cater to varied clientele.
• Fluency in English is required, with additional languages being a significant advantage in diverse markets.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships and lead a team effectively.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously without compromising quality.
