Cash Management Manager

Oman Air is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the airline's cash flow and ensuring that we maintain optimal liquidity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Flow Management: Review and improve our cash flow management process through best practices, implement strategies to accelerate accounts receivable, delay accounts payable, optimize inventory levels, and manage capital expenditures.
  • Reporting: Adopt strong reporting mechanisms to keep senior management informed about all incurred charges vis-a-vis agreed terms.
  • Cash Forecasting: Implement and maintain transparent cash forecasting and reporting mechanisms.
  • Surplus Funds: Oversee daily and monthly cash flow projections and fund availability, analyzing surplus funds and negotiating deposit rates with banks.
  • Treasury Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure optimal cash management and liquidity, identifying and mitigating all treasury-related financial risks.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 8+ years of financial or accounting experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (mandatory), post-graduate degree/accreditation such as CFA, CMA, or CPA is a plus.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
