Culinary Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to support our head chef in delivering consistently high-quality food in a busy kitchen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of dishes, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while adhering to proper sanitation and food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with senior chefs on menu planning and food preparation.
  2. Ensure that every dish meets the highest quality standards.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  4. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  5. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members.
  6. Oversee the preparation and plating of dishes during service hours.
  7. Adjust recipes as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions or customer preferences.
  8. Foster effective communication with other staff members to ensure seamless operations in the kitchen.
  9. Pursue ongoing training and professional development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  1. Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisines.
  2. Experience in food preparation and recipe development.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  7. Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.
  8. 3 years' experience as a chef, including at least 2 years in similar positions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
