Backend Engineer Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, highly available systems.

  • Designing, developing, and deploying features of our platform;
  • Collaborating with other engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery;
  • Working on our current product platform that utilizes DDD, CQRS, and microservice architecture;
  • Participating in an agile cross-functional team to achieve project goals;
  • Owning backend engineering culture and contributing to its growth through knowledge sharing and best practices adoption;

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Java Developer;
  • Familiarity with the latest Java features, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and MySQL or other relational databases;
  • Experience with transaction-heavy systems and Docker;
  • Understanding of open-source culture and software development principles;
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency;

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with distributed systems, messaging, microservices, RabbitMQ, and Kafka;
  • CQRS, DDD, TDD, NoSQL databases, and event sourcing expertise;
  • CI/CD and DevOps knowledge: Jenkins, Kubernetes, GCP, and cloud technologies;
