Job Role
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand the project specifications
  • Select the right tools, materials, and gas ratios for various tasks
  • Prepare work surfaces and metals for production by cleaning and treating them
  • Measure, cut, and drill materials accurately to meet project requirements
  • Test weld strength after each weld to ensure quality
  • Maintain welding tools in good condition and clean working areas
  • Assist in inventory management and shop cleanliness
  • Follow all relevant safety procedures and protocols
Desired Candidate Profile
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Formal MIG welding training or apprenticeship experience is necessary
  • Familiarity with commonly used MIG welding tools, techniques, and materials
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines
  • Solid physical stamina and strength
