Lead Security and Telecom Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Lead Security and Telecom Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security and telecom systems for various clients.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or electronics engineering, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience managing major EPC security projects in the oil and gas sector. A valid Oman driving license is also preferred.

The selected candidate will oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of security and telecom systems at project sites, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and engineering security and telecom systems, including access control, physical security, intrusion detection, VMS, fiber optics, structured cabling, networking, telephony, and storage.
  • Defining technical architecture components, including hardware, software, OS, and performance monitoring, in line with standards.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing and ensuring technical correctness of material and procurement specifications, as well as developing coherent technology architecture and system integration plans for security systems.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
