Business Development Manager - Supply Chain Solutions

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth by managing and developing client relationships, generating new sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the Supply Chain Solutions industry.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales. Key responsibilities include identifying and targeting potential clients to expand the customer base, conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth, developing and implementing sales action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets, and contributing to the company's overall freight forwarding sales strategy.

Responsibilities may include generating leads and actively pursuing new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events, developing and delivering compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations, negotiating and closing sales contracts, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives, following up on all estimates submitted to customers, and monitoring and participating in RFQs with the designated freight forwarding operations team.

This role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction, conducting regular client meetings to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify new business opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements, and working closely with the Freight Forwarding Manager and Operations team.
