Job Title: School Leadership Position

We are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Deputy Headteacher. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the school's vision, mission, and targets.

About the Role
  • The Deputy Head Teacher will be a leading professional in the school, accountable to the Head Teacher.

This is a key leadership position that requires strong strategic planning skills, effective communication, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Vision: Assist in providing a clear articulation of the school's vision and mission, ensuring they are shared, understood, and effectively acted upon by all members of the academic team.

This involves maintaining a strategic planning approach that aligns with the diversity of the school and surrounding community. The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating and revising school policies and procedures as needed.

  • Culture and Student Success: Implement and improve a culture of challenge and support between students and the academic team, where all can achieve success and engage in the teaching and learning process.

The Deputy Head Teacher will monitor, observe, evaluate, and review classroom practices throughout the school, promoting continuous improvement.

  • Collaboration and Partnership: Establish and maintain effective partnerships with parents and carers to support and improve student achievement and personal development.

Liaise with the Head Teacher to develop positive working relationships and sustain motivation among staff members, ensuring effective planning, allocation, support, and evaluation of work is undertaken by teams and individuals.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in education.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a school deputy headteacher.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
