Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective relationship management with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions is critical for this position.
  • The CFO will lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and forecasts, implementing cost control measures to optimize profitability.
  • A thorough assessment and management of financial risks will be essential to ensure the company maintains a strong financial position.
  • Mentoring and managing the finance team to achieve operational excellence is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications:
  • An Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory for this position.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably in Oman or the GCC region, is required.
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and business practices in Oman is essential.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills are necessary for this role.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and advanced Excel is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities are essential for mentoring and managing the finance team.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English are required, with knowledge of Arabic being an advantage.
  • High ethical standards and integrity are expected from the successful candidate.
