Web Development Position

We are seeking a skilled web developer to create high-quality websites and web applications using HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript (React and TypeScript). The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about web standards and stays updated on industry developments. A passion for both design and code, along with strong communication skills, is essential.

The responsibilities of this role include creating high-quality websites and web applications, maintaining and updating existing projects, managing incoming requests for updates, ensuring high and consistent quality across all products, publishing new pages according to specifications and style guides, contributing to and participating in our living style guide, Vanilla Framework, and collaborating with UX and visual designers to implement excellent user experiences.

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have experience with modern web applications, a strong understanding of HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript, and TypeScript, experience with JavaScript component libraries, experience with responsive design for various devices and browsers, experience with Git or other version control systems, knowledge of SEO best practices, consideration of accessibility in all work aspects, understanding of web performance in complex interfaces, ability to collaborate with UX designers, visual designers, and server-side developers, curiosity about technology and eagerness to learn, and a university degree or equivalent education.

Additonally, a familiarity with Linux desktop technologies, experience with server-side languages such as Python or NodeJS, experience working on large-scale React projects with TypeScript, open source contributions, and relevant work experience are highly valued.
