Treasury Management Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the airline's debt management, including evaluating financing proposals, negotiating contracts, and finalizing details of all types of funded and unfunded credit facilities. This will involve managing the end-to-end financing RFP process, identifying relevant liquidity pools, sourcing and evaluating proposals in collaboration with legal, technical, insurance, and other corporate teams.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a debt strategy aligned with the airline's transformation program, managing the debt portfolio, analyzing and optimizing the debt maturity profile, and evaluating refinancing opportunities to reduce interest costs and improve financial flexibility.

In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will also support the management of interest rate and jet fuel price risks in line with the risk appetite defined by management and the board. This will involve identifying and assessing financial risks associated with the airline's debt portfolio, implementing hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate and currency exchange risks, and monitoring market conditions and economic indicators to assess their impact on the debt portfolio.

The role also requires preparing periodic treasury reports for management and board reporting, ensuring compliance with all debt-related covenants, preparing and submitting required financial reports to shareholders, and collaborating with the treasury team to optimize cash flow and debt service payments.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of financial or accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (mandatory), and strong organizational and leadership abilities. Post-graduate degree/accreditation such as CFA, CMA, or CPA is a plus. The candidate must demonstrate outstanding organizational and time-management skills, as well as strong ethical conduct with dedication to maintaining ethical standards across all corporate matters and adhering to the aviation industry laws and Code of Conduct.
