Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate product vision and priorities effectively to the development team.
  • Prioritize the product backlog, taking into account long-term expectations such as release plans.
  • Serve as the final arbiter of requirements questions.
  • Decide whether our product is ready to be released to customers.
  • Create stories from requirement specifications.
  • Estimate the size and time required for each task.
  • Effectively manage and assign tasks to developers.
  • Closely monitor project progress.
  • Perform static testing, including verification of business needs, documented requirements, and system requirement specifications.
  • Conduct dynamic testing, which includes validation of constructed builds, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and UAT.
  • Create test cases and scenarios using various techniques.
  • Conduct functional testing, including functional, smoke, sanity, and regression testing.
  • Non-functional testing, encompassing usability, UI, performance, security, compatibility, and recovery testing, is also essential.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is necessary.
  • Fresh graduates or those with up to 3 years' experience in a similar field are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in static testing and dynamic testing is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Test Management Tools and Requirement Management Tools is also essential.
  • Knowledge of Security Testing tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Test Process Phases is crucial.
  • Knowledge of fault identification, test cases, and scenario priority is also necessary.
  • Familiarity with J2EE Technology, Web Services, JAVA XML API'S, C++, C#, Browsers, Cookies, XML, and HTML is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Oracle 11g is also required.
  • Understanding of UML Design and Gap Analysis is essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role.
  • A strong team player with excellent time management skills is what we are looking for.
  • The ability to work under pressure and possess attention to detail skills is also crucial.
  • Effective communication and analytical thinking skills are necessary for success in this position.
