Role Description

The successful candidate for this position will serve as a key member of our team, contributing to the effective operation of our Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the regular maintenance and monitoring of ESP systems contracted under our company.
  • Lead commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for ESP systems, capturing detailed records of all well events.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine whether well sites are suitable for the installation of surface ESP equipment, encompassing site preparation, cable laying, and foundation placement.
  • Be available on-site at all times unless specifically exempted and cleared by management.

Core Competencies

  1. Degree in electrical, petroleum, or mechanical engineering, or relevant professional experience.
  2. At least three years of experience in ESP commissioning and troubleshooting are mandatory.
  3. In-depth knowledge of downhole ESP systems, particularly VSD and FSD.
  4. Hands-on experience in installing and extracting ESP units from wells and resolving surface equipment issues.
  5. Able to execute routine maintenance, detect faults, repair, and operate equipment like VSD, FSD, and ESP.
  6. Familiarity with HSE best practices for frontline supervisors and electrical safety standards.
  7. Understanding of PTW protocols.

  • Skillful in analyzing ESP issues and implementing swift solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is advantageous but not obligatory.
