About the Role

This IT Audit Associate position involves performing assurance and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients across various industries. You will collaborate with engagement teams and managers to deliver high-quality results, develop your skills, and take on new challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Risk Assessment and Testing: Performing fieldwork and audit procedures such as IT risk assessment, testing of automated/application controls, general IT controls, interface controls, and system-generated reports.
  • Communication: Communicating engagement issues and findings to senior management and client personnel.
  • Quality Delivery: Ensuring quality in delivering client service.
  • Professional Standards: Following Deloitte policies and relevant professional standards in performing procedures.
  • Client Management: Executing multiple concurrent engagements within multiple industries while delivering exceptional client service according to firm standards.
  • Status Reporting: Reporting directly to seniors in charge of the status of engagements.
  • Cyber Security Assessments: Supporting cyber security assessments, information security assessments, business continuity reviews, and other hot topics for our clients.

This role requires strong background in auditing techniques and/or computer control environments in the Financial Services Industry. Relevant certification, such as CISA, is a plus. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and passionate about delivering tangible outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems. 0 to 2 years of experience in the Technology Industry is preferred. Ability to plan and manage fieldwork along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines is essential. Proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques is also required. Fluency in English language (reading, writing, and speaking) is necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems.
  • CISA or other relevant certification is a plus.
  • Strong background in auditing techniques and/or computer control environments in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Ability to plan and manage fieldwork along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Experience in testing general IT controls of applications, operating systems, and databases; testing of system-generated reports is a plus.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in the Technology Industry.
  • Fluency in English language (reading, writing, and speaking).
