Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing poultry tasks and care, adhering to company policies and instructions from the livestock farm vet/supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement poultry management strategies in line with best practices.
• Collaborate with the livestock farm vet/supervisor to ensure the health and well-being of poultry.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor poultry welfare and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of poultry products.

Requirements:

• Formal educational qualifications in Poultry or Animal Science and relevant experience in the field.
• Expert knowledge in poultry production and management.
• Strong understanding of poultry diseases and prevention/control methods.
• Ability to create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Skilled in creating suitable nutritional diets for poultry.
• Passionate about providing a stress-free environment for poultry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
