IT Infrastructure Manager

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and maintenance of infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance and operation.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive plans and budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  2. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and distribute regular reports on departmental performance, ensuring adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  3. Capacity and Availability Planning: Proactively plan and manage infrastructure capacity, availability, and business continuity, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
  4. Team Leadership and Development: Foster a high-performing team by motivating and supporting staff members in their daily activities, promoting skills development, and providing training opportunities.
  5. Resource Allocation and Optimization: Effectively allocate resources to meet operational needs, ensuring balanced task distribution among team members.
  6. Supplier Relationship Management: Negotiate and manage supplier agreements, services, and maintenance contracts to achieve best value and optimize costs.
  7. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other external partners, facilitating effective communication and cooperation.
  8. Service Delivery and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all SLAs are met, KPIs are achieved, and service quality is maintained at the highest level.
  9. Support and Escalation: Provide 24/7 support for system-related issues and business-critical requests, escalating problems promptly to ensure minimal disruption.
  10. System Enhancement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for system enhancements, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
  11. Policies and Procedures: Enforce adherence to standard policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a degree in IT or a related field and a minimum of 10+ years of experience, including 2-3 years in a managerial position within IT management. They should also demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of resolving complex IT issues collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, proficiency in both written and spoken English and Arabic languages is highly desirable.
