Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a high-profile position that demands expertise in safeguarding digital assets and ensuring the security of IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a mobile telecom operator or MVNO environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external partners to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security audits, and compliance checks.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee identity and access management, ensuring only authorized users have access to sensitive data and systems.
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to potential security threats.
  • Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices through training and awareness programs.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 5-10 years of security and network operations experience using global standards such as ITIL and eTOM.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of security infrastructure, vulnerability management, incident response, and security policy development.
  • Experience with IAM, VPN, Firewall, IDS/IPS, and cloud security technologies.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments requiring quick decision-making.
  • Possesses excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excels with Agile methodologies and project management for large-scale security initiatives.
