**Senior Accounting Position**

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced accounting professional.

Responsibilities:

  1. Food Costing & Pricing:

    We are seeking an individual to develop and maintain accurate food costing models, analyze ingredient costs, and establish profitable menu pricing strategies.

  2. Inventory Management:

    The successful candidate will implement and oversee efficient inventory control systems, conduct regular stocktakes, and minimize waste.

  3. Management System Development:

    We are looking for someone to contribute to the development and implementation of a robust food management system to streamline ordering, production, and inventory processes.

  4. Financial Reporting:

    The ideal candidate will prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  5. Fixed Asset Register:

    Developing and maintaining a comprehensive fixed asset register, tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.

  6. Staff Scheduling:

    Creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in an accounting role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • A strong understanding of food costing principles and inventory management techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle diverse responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
