Compassionate Healthcare Professional

At the Client of Aurawoo International, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our healthcare team in Seeb, Oman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients, ensuring their well-being and promoting their comfort and independence.

1. Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living.
2. Medical Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
3. Patient Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and medications, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
4. Care Planning: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
5. Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and answering their questions.
6. Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
7. Patient Mobility: Assist with patient mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and positioning techniques.
8. Self-Care Education: Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and health maintenance strategies.
9. Professional Development: Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

1. A valid nursing license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction is required.
2. Proven experience as a Nurse or Caregiver, preferably in a healthcare facility or home care setting.
3. Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
4. A compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
6. The ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control protocols, and patient safety practices.
8. The ability to adapt to changing situations and provide high-quality care in emergency or critical situations.
9. Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical software.
