Income Financial Analyst

A luxury hospitality brand connects guests to genuine places and people through personal experiences and heartfelt hospitality in exciting destinations.

The Income Auditor is responsible for auditing daily revenue postings and adjustments processed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.

• Balances hotel cash receipts and credit cards.
• Balances daily charges and posts necessary adjustments.
• Audits previous day postings for accuracy and ensures support ties to postings.
• Prepares income breakdowns for each hotel outlet.
• Prepares and distributes daily management reports.
• Follows up on revenue audit issues in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Follows up the resolution of cashier over/shorts.
• Assists Credit Manager with the resolution of credit card chargebacks.
• Maintains orderly daily audit packs for Hotel.
• Receives, investigates, and responds to internal inquiries regarding daily reports.
• Prepares and distributes daily routing pack of promotional checks and rebates.
• Prepares monthly sales and use tax returns.
• Audits telephone revenue vs. call accounting reports.
• Audits banquet checks for accuracy.
• Balance front desk and F&B paperwork.
• Loads monthly forecast and last year into income report.
• Monitors Cash Machine, creates/deletes users, reviews daily reports and balance vs deposits and follows up on variances, orders cash replenishment, prepares deposits to the bank.

• Degree in Accounting/Business preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of accounting principles.
• Previous AP experience, Hotel Night Audit or Front Office experience preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills; professional demeanour required.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated numerical aptitude required.
• Strong Attention to Detail, and excellent time management skills.
• Able to solve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
