Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in Salalah, Oman.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  2. Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements.
  3. Ensure strict compliance with accounting principles and procedures.
  4. Maintain up-to-date financial records and perform regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors.
  5. Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue, and provide timely financial guidance to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification is highly valued.
  • Experience working in the Middle East region is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic is an asset but not required.
