Electrical Systems Inspector

 

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

  • Inspect the installation of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) electrical systems, conduits, panels, and terminations to verify adherence to approved designs and specifications.
  • Verify that all electrical works are in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and local electrical regulations, including IEC and NEC.
  • Monitor the installation of cable trays, earthing systems, and devices to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance, continuity, and grounding tests.
  • Document and report inspection findings and contractor performance.

 

Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in electrical inspection, preferably in complex projects such as theme parks, hospitals, or airports.
  • Strong understanding of testing protocols and international electrical standards.
  • Familiarity with ride systems, show lighting, and life safety electrical systems is an advantage.
