Procurement and Contract Expert

The position of a Procurement and Contract Expert is going to add great value in terms of quality assurance, strategy development, and effective communication with internal customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the needs of internal customers.
  • Review and validate scopes of work from technical aspects.
  • Revalidate final requisitions and propose solutions.
  • Qualify requests based on listed prerequisites and discuss requirement details with internal customers.
  • Create procurement project plans, manage timelines, and participate in the entire process.
  • Prepare handovers of contracts to internal customers.
  • Align projects with corporate vision, mission, and values.
  • Participate in annual initiatives and contribute to identifying weaknesses in the procurement process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and experience in procurement for at least 15 years.
  • Prior experience in preparing tenders, evaluating bids, contracts, and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Technical ability to read and analyze SOWs, BOQs, and contracts.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage issues autonomously.
  • Strategic relationship-building skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
