As a Revenue Optimization Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving hotel revenue growth through strategic inventory and pricing management.

About the Role:
  • This position involves close collaboration with the Director of Revenue to develop and implement data-driven strategies for maximizing room rates and occupancy levels.
  • Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing business intelligence, identifying market trends, and developing forecasts to inform revenue optimization decisions.

Skill Sets and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with revenue management concepts, processes, and strategies is essential, including average daily rate, revenue per available room, sales cycles, and trends.
  • The ability to analyze complex data, identify insights, and make informed recommendations is crucial for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in using BI tools, distribution systems, and inventory management software is also required.
  • A college degree in business, economics, marketing, or strategy, as well as strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytic skills are necessary qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and interpret pricing and inventory reports to inform revenue optimization decisions.
  2. Collaborate with the Director of Revenue to develop and implement data-driven strategies for maximizing room rates and occupancy levels.
  3. Collect and organize business intelligence using BI tools and systems.
  4. Develop forecasts to inform revenue optimization decisions.
  5. Support forecasting process by collating all required data.
  6. Drive the execution of the revenue optimization strategy.
  7. Implement inventory management and pricing decisions across all channels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel property management systems and 5 years in revenue optimization.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytic skills.
  • Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing, and other revenue management functions.
  • College degree (Bachelor) in business, economics, marketing, or strategy.
