Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor in Dentistry
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Professor in Dentistry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research and education, with a focus on advancing research activities across the College.
The role involves teaching responsibilities related to applied dental materials and digital dentistry, with emphasis on research methodology, scientific writing, and material science. You will also be responsible for leading and coordinating research initiatives, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, and managing research laboratory operations.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic academic to join our team and contribute to shaping the College's research agenda. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact research projects, supervise talented students, and develop your academic leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
• Teach and assess students in dental materials, digital technologies, and research methodology
• Conduct research and publish papers in peer-reviewed academic journals
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and support thesis development
• Lead and coordinate research initiatives across the College
• Manage and oversee research laboratory operations, including chemical, mechanical, and cellular testing
• Mentor junior faculty and students, fostering a vibrant and sustainable research culture

Requirements:
• A dental qualification (BDS or equivalent) with a PhD in Dental Materials, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field from an internationally recognized and reputable institution
• Experience in laboratory-based research, particularly involving chemical, mechanical, and cellular testing
• Proven track record of supervising postgraduate research students and guiding successful thesis development
• Demonstrated success in securing and managing external research funding
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed academic journals
• Familiarity with digital dentistry technologies and their applications in research and education
• A postgraduate qualification in education, leadership, or management is preferred
