Business Assurance and Risk Management Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IRAP plans in collaboration with departmental heads
  • Compile and maintain the corporate annual assurance plan
  • Enhance visibility of the IRAP program through regular reporting
  • Collaborate with risk teams and assurance focal points to integrate assurance outcomes into risk reviews
  • Conduct gap assessments of current assurance practices and facilitate actions to address gaps
  • Prepare executive reports and management summaries on IRAP activities
  • Support IRAP awareness initiatives and training to promote a risk-based assurance culture
  • Assist in deploying and managing an end-to-end assurance tool for IRAP lifecycle management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or engineering, with related certifications or training in audit & assurance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business assurance, risk, and internal controls
  • Effective communication skills and experience influencing senior management and business process owners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA
  • Experience working with assurance tools and technologies
