Job Overview

We are seeking a Public Relations Officer to establish a professional working relationship between Oman's governing bodies and our organization. This role ensures compliance with current Oman laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate employee claims reports for local and job-related expenses.
  • Process purchase requests for spare parts, uniforms, and other items required for jobs.
  • Arrange training licenses by seeking quotations and coordinating with the HR Department.
  • Supervise company vehicles and ensure they are in good condition.
  • Manage the employment visa tracking system throughout the organization.
  • Oversee employment visa/labor card issues, including applications, cancellations, stamping, renewals, and transit visas.
  • Arrange visa medicals for new employees and renewals.
  • Manage employment visa documentation and keep it up-to-date.
  • Obtain visit visas/transit visas on an ad hoc basis as needed.
  • Keep a database of company trade licenses and establishment cards, renewing them as required.
  • Handle government-related websites and provide updates on legislation changes.
Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a government liaison role/PRO in Oman.
  • College graduate, preferably with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong background in Oman labor law and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Proficient typing skills in English and Arabic.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with local government bodies.
