Water Pipeline Construction Director

We are seeking a highly skilled project director to oversee the execution of comprehensive water pipeline construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing project plans that align with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans that meet regulatory standards and environmental guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Optimization: Coordinate with engineering teams to assess pipeline designs and optimize construction methods, focusing on efficiency and sustainability.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and financial management of projects, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Procurement and Contract Negotiation: Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment, negotiating contracts to secure the best pricing and quality.
  • Site Meetings and Communication: Lead on-site project meetings, facilitating communication between stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues in pipeline projects and develop contingency plans.
  • Site Inspections and Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and forecasts.
  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local communities and stakeholders to promote transparency and address concerns related to pipeline projects.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to water pipeline installation and maintenance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management roles within the water infrastructure sector.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent are highly preferred.
