This role involves working closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that minimize legal and regulatory risks. You will be responsible for analyzing complex information, providing expert advice, and advising on commercial transactions and contract negotiations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Law (LLB), preferably with experience in a reputable law firm. At least 10 years of relevant work experience is necessary.

You will need to have excellent analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies
  2. Collaborate with senior management to develop policies, procedures, and guidelines
  3. Stay up-to-date with legislative and regulatory developments
  4. Provide expert advice on commercial transactions and contract negotiations
  5. Manage relationships with external counsel, advisors, and lenders
  6. Oversee the preparation of reports and other documentation
