The role of Senior Application Specialist is critical to the organization's success.

Job Overview

This position involves managing day-to-day operations, configuration, and support of key enterprise applications, including Business Support System (BSS), Workforce Management (WFM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and SharePoint systems.

  • Manage application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for application-related issues and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into system functionalities or changes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure integration between applications and with other IT systems is functioning correctly and securely.
  2. Monitor system performance, usage, and health, proactively addressing issues before they impact users.
  3. Provide training and support to end-users to enhance application adoption and effective usage.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System or any related field.
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated relevant experience in applications.
  • Background in Web Services (SOAP, REST, JSON).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Creativity & ability to think outside the box is important.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all levels of management.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Additional Requirements:

  • English (fluent written and verbal) Mandatory.

Industry Trends and Challenges:

  • Familiarity with banking and broking industries.
  • Hands-on experience with software development and documentation.
