Lead Content Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead our content efforts and manage a team of talented writers and content strategists. This role requires process discipline, creative smarts, leadership skills, and performance-driven strategy to ensure our content aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Content Marketing Strategy: Create a comprehensive content marketing plan that aligns with our business goals, SEO, and brand positioning.
  • Manage Content Calendar: Oversee the creation and publication of high-quality content, ensuring efficient production processes and minimal friction.
  • Ensure Content Quality and Consistency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain exceptional content quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all channels.
  • Optimize Content for Search Engines: Work closely with web and growth engineering teams to optimize content for search engines, leveraging proven SEO expertise.
  • Monitor and Report on KPIs: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for our content program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven strategies.

About You:

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Content or Related Roles: Proven track record in creating authoritative and engaging content, preferably at technology companies, with 2+ years of experience as a manager or team lead.
  • SEO Expertise: Applied knowledge of SEO principles, experience with SEO tools, and ability to create SEO-driven content calendars.
  • Excellent Project Management and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to create highly efficient processes for content production and reuse, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Relevant Discipline: Strong foundation in marketing, communications, or related field, with a focus on content creation and strategy.
