Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of corporate M&A and delivering projects for the organisation. This will involve:

  • M&A and Project Management: Working closely with the corporate leadership team to support a wide range of strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, joint ventures, greenfield developments, and disposals.
  • Business Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of Group business development strategy and projects, identifying material business and partnership opportunities for new ventures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Developing and maintaining risk analysis of deals arising from due diligence, structuring, advising, and supporting on negotiation and mitigation methods, providing expert inputs on post-merger integration planning, and building and advising on deal impact analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Excellent skills in business, industry, macro-economics, and mega-trends analysis.
  • Extensive experience in legal due diligence, deal document negotiations.
  • Good understanding of accounting, corporate finance theory, and valuation methods.
  • Integrity, reliability, and ability to manage multiple projects and time-sensitive priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good and professional relations within and outside the organisation.
  • Thorough knowledge of project management concepts and applications.
  • End-to-end knowledge of M&A transactions, new venture development, and business feasibility development.
