Geoscientist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Geoscientist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about advancing the field of geoscience.

Job Description

This role involves working on formation testing and sampling programs, integrating petrophysical evaluation results, and conducting formation testing and fluid sampling studies using state-of-the-art techniques. You will also assist in pre-job planning with clients, tool configuration, and post-job review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate petrophysical evaluation results into formation testing and sampling program design.
  • Conduct formation testing and fluid sampling studies using appropriate techniques.
  • Assist and advise product line teams during pre-job planning, tool configuration, on-job support, and post job review.
  • Support direct sales/upsell and technical support of high-end services.
  • Prepare technical interpretation reports for Wireline and Drilling services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering, a minimum of 10 years of experience in formation, testing, and sampling, and reservoir engineering. Strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.
