Bakery and Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our culinary team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in baking and pastry preparation, with a passion for delivering high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using traditional techniques and modern recipes.

  • Develop new menu items and seasonal specialties by experimenting with different ingredients and presentation styles.

  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency in all baked goods produced.

  • Ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies at all times, reporting any shortages or issues to management.

  • Familiarize yourself with food safety and hygiene regulations, adhering to them at all times.

  • Keep the bakery section clean and organized, with all equipment and utensils properly maintained.

  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-4 years of experience in bakery or pastry roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices, with a focus on innovation and creativity.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and presentation, with a passion for creating visually appealing baked goods.

  • Be currently based in Oman or willing to relocate immediately, with a valid passport and work permit (if required).
