Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Media Manager to oversee our internal and external communications. This role involves developing communication strategies, managing media relations, creating content that promotes our brand and objectives, and managing the communication team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop our voice in line with our brand and values.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to build brand and programme awareness.
  • Manage internal communications, including newsletters, memos, emails, and announcements.
  • Manage our public relations and image.
  • Plan, edit, and write content for various platforms such as websites, social media, and press releases.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies through KPIs and metrics.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of communication specialists and other staff.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets to ensure positive coverage.
  • Organize and coordinate events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits.
  • Provide communication training to staff and executives.
  • Handle crisis and emergency communications.
  • Assist with programme development and launches, considering public perception and impact.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop long-term communication strategies.
  • Create communication plans aligned with brand and programme objectives.
  • Liaise with PR and marketing teams for external campaigns.
  • Plan and approve regular internal communications, including newsletters and reports.
  • Create and distribute materials explaining organizational policies.
  • Engage with customers to generate business and participate in trade, PR, and customer-focused events.
  • Manage publication schedules for recurring content.
  • Lead and train the communication team, overseeing daily operations.
  • Write and edit materials for media, websites, and other audiences; coordinate publicity efforts.
  • Maintain a media clip archive and monitor press coverage related to us.
  • Manage content for websites and digital assets for internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on the annual communications plan.
