Construction Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our contract projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with at least 5 years of experience managing projects from start to finish.

This role requires excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Fluency in English is required, and preference will be given to candidates who are Malayalees or Filipinos.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $1200, and accommodation will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met and within budget
  • Supervising and managing team members, including contractors, subcontractors, and other personnel
  • Communicating effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project progress
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Reviewing project plans and making necessary adjustments as needed
  • Monitoring materials and equipment inventory, ensuring timely procurement when needed
  • Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
  • Conducting regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
  • A proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • The ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
