Job Title: Medical Business Development Professional

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Business Development Professional to join our team. As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maximizing sales opportunities by arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams.
    • You will manage budgets to generate sales opportunities and reach monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets by accurately planning work schedules and reducing costs.
      • Your primary goal will be to maximize sales target achievement through ethical promotions of products to targeted health-care professionals and securing maximum prescription for brands/products.
      • You will build and maintain positive working relationships with Sales Representatives, Marketing teams, Finance, Logistics and Stores by conducting meetings as warranted to ensure collaboration across departments.
        • You will plan and organize a personal promotional strategy by maximizing Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment by being aware of product applications, technical data presentations, market conditions, competitor activities, advertising and promotional trends and participating actively in company meetings, trade shows and conventions.
          • You will maintain knowledge of new developments in anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly by being always updated with market trends and exiting rival strategies.
            • You will support and implement marketing strategies as per requirements of the Marketing teams by actively participating in new product launches and attending trainings.
              • You will ensure excellent knowledge of company's products along with competitor's products so as to promote own brands more effectively by being updated with market recent trends.
                • You will provide Line Manager with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products and services by planning work schedules and preparing weekly and monthly timetables through a daily reporting of updates on market visits and customer feedback.
                  • You will contribute to the total effectiveness of the marketing department by embracing sales strategies and application of product knowledge as communicated in training sessions, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive engaged team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bachelor of Pharmacy or Sciences degree
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative
  3. Oman driving license
  4. Fluent in English and Arabic languages
